Intel is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our System Engineering Validation team, as a System Validation Coop Engineer to validate our next generation of discrete graphics hardware and work with cutting edge IP design technologies.

 

As a Discrete Graphics Validation Intern, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Design, develop, and execute test plans to validate latest Intel GPUs Triage.

Track and assist in root-causing any potential hardware or software bugs through hands-on lab debug and experimentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional, globally located silicon, board design, and thermal mechanical teams to drive issues to closure to meet aggressive schedules.

Develop automation infrastructure and implement test cases in Python.

Set up and maintain test platforms and lab equipment.

Continuously look for ways to innovate and improve Intel's products and/or processes.

 

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

 

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM degree.

 

Candidate must also have 3+ months of educational or work experience with the following:

Computer architecture or computer organization.

Experience with Lab equipment such as supplies/ oscilloscopes/ multimeters/ power supplies/ etc.

Experience with Windows drivers, operating systems, error logs, setting up configuring programs or experience with Linux operating systems and windows command line.
 


Preferred Qualifications:

Discrete graphics add-in cards or mobile discrete graphics systems.

Experience with leading PC technology.

Familiar with PC x86 architecture and excellent system level knowledge including CPU processor, multimedia, memory, PCIe, display technologies, power management, 3D graphics.

Experience in building your own PC and computer hardware

Programming skills in Python or similar languages
