Job Description

Senior Compensation Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs within an organization. This role involves analyzing market data, evaluating internal job roles, and ensuring that the organization's compensation strategies align with business objectives

Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Strategy:
    • Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives and talent acquisition goals.
  2. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to benchmark the organization's compensation practices against industry standards and competitor offerings.
  3. Job Evaluation:
    • Evaluate and classify jobs within the organization, ensuring accurate job descriptions, classifications, and appropriate salary grades.
  4. Salary Surveys:
    • Participate in and analyze salary surveys to gather market intelligence on compensation trends and practices.
  5. Compensation Planning:
    • Assist in the development and execution of annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases, bonuses, and incentive programs.
  6. Equity Programs:
    • Manage and administer equity-based compensation programs, including stock options and restricted stock units (RSUs).
  7. Data Analysis:
    • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze compensation data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  8. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation practices.
  9. Communication and Education:
    • Communicate compensation policies, programs, and changes to employees and provide education on compensation-related matters.
  10. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between compensation strategies and overall HR initiatives.
  11. Performance Management:
    • Integrate compensation programs with performance management processes, linking pay to individual and organizational performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP) is a plus.
  • Several years of experience in compensation analysis, with a focus on designing and implementing compensation programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing.
  • Familiarity with equity-based compensation programs and stock administration.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations related to compensation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
