Job Description

Senior Manager, Inside Account Management involves overseeing and leading a team responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with clients through inside sales and account management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of inside account managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of sales targets and client satisfaction.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.
  3. Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and execute inside sales strategies to drive revenue growth, upselling, and cross-selling within existing client accounts.
  4. Account Planning:
    • Collaborate with the team to create account plans, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within each client account.
  5. Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales targets, client retention, and other relevant metrics, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Provide training and development opportunities for the inside account management team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  7. Collaboration with Other Departments:
    • Work collaboratively with other departments such as marketing, product, and customer support to ensure a cohesive and effective client experience.
  8. Customer Feedback:
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback, using insights to improve service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.
  9. Market Trends:
    • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust account management strategies accordingly.
  10. Problem Resolution:
    • Assist in resolving escalated client issues and challenges, ensuring a positive resolution and maintaining client loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, inside sales, or a related role, with a focus on team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of the organization's products or services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align account management strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
