Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for the development and maintenance of the Actions Runtime.
- Runtime Strategy:
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy for the evolution and growth of the Actions Runtime, aligning it with business and development goals.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design and management of the underlying infrastructure that supports the Actions Runtime, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Execution Environment:
- Manage and optimize the execution environment where Actions and workflows run, addressing performance, resource utilization, and compatibility.
- Scalability and Performance:
- Address scalability challenges, ensuring that the runtime can efficiently handle varying workloads and scale to meet user demands.
- Security Measures:
- Establish and enforce security best practices within the Actions Runtime to ensure a secure and trustworthy execution environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering teams, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of the Actions Runtime.
- Documentation:
