Job Description

Product Manager is a strategic professional responsible for the development, management, and success of software products throughout their lifecycle

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy:
    • Develop and articulate the overall product strategy, aligning it with business goals and market needs.
  2. Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform product decisions.
  3. Roadmap Planning:
    • Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the vision and prioritized features and enhancements over time.
  4. Feature Definition:
    • Work closely with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to define product features, functionality, and requirements.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product delivery.
  6. Release Management:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of product releases, coordinating with development teams to deliver features on schedule.
  7. User Experience (UX):
    • Work with UX designers to ensure that the user experience aligns with user needs and expectations.
  8. Product Metrics:
    • Define and monitor key product metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Customer Feedback:
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback, conducting user interviews and surveys to understand user satisfaction and pain points.
  10. Competitive Analysis:
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor products, providing insights to inform product strategy.
  11. Budget Management:
    • Manage the product budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on software products.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
