Job Description

Lead Quality Control (QA) professional is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within an organization to ensure that products or services meet defined standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with the organization's goals and product/service requirements.
  2. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously assess and improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall product/service quality.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for their professional development.
  4. Test Planning:
    • Develop test plans and strategies for different phases of the product development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and deployment.
  5. Test Case Design:
    • Oversee the creation of detailed test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
  6. Execution and Automation:
    • Coordinate the execution of test cases and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency.
  7. Defect Tracking:
    • Implement systems for tracking and managing defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely issue resolution.
  8. Performance Testing:
    • Plan and execute performance testing to ensure products meet scalability and performance requirements.
  9. Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure that products and processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  10. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to maintain a unified approach to quality.
  11. Metrics and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality control and provide regular reports to management on quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Control or QA leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with test automation tools and strategies.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and load testing techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey quality-related information across teams.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
